Target audience – Staff in Secondary & Community Learning (Secondary age learners)

 

Session 1 – Room 14 in Camelon Education Centre, 23/10/2019 
Why do we need to promote and recognise participation and wider achievement for young people?
This sessions will consider the national and local policy context and where wider achievement and participation in the community sits within the curriculum. Participants will be asked to consider where their context currently sits and strengths/gaps.

Session 2 – 27/11/2019
Scoping the landscape in my context – strengths and development needs.
This session will begin with participants reflecting on the strengths and areas for development within their own context regarding wider achievement and participation. We will go on to identify and plan strategies for moving forward.

Sessions 3 05/02/2020 and 4 18/03/2020
Building on emerging areas of good practice
We will consider how to track and celebrate wider achievement across the learning community based on what we have learned in sessions 1 & 2.
