The Early Years RIC Sub Group met last week to discuss and evaluate the event “It’s a Good Time to be Two” which took place on 12th Feb for staff who work with two year old children across the RIC.
The feedback from attendees has been extremely positive especially in giving people the opportunity to network and share across the four authorities. There was a request for more training on Improvement Methodology. The feedback will be analysed in further detail and a plan for the way forward will be created.
The Early Vocabulary Sub Group met last week to share the work from the CYPIC Language Meets Literacy Practicum. We heard the journey of the West Lothian team who focused on Collaboration for Improvement in Early Intervention and Prevention.
Our Early Vocabulary and Language Sub Group met last week. We have been engaged in a harvesting of work to share practice across the RIC. Sound bites of initiatives have also been created to inform practitioners of interventions. Will update with sharing arrangements as soon as these have been finalised.
Looking forward to meeting two year old practitioners across the RIC at the event on 12th February in FV College (Stirling Campus). It will be a fantastic opportunity to share good practice and learn together.
