{"id":3354,"date":"2017-11-15T15:58:39","date_gmt":"2017-11-15T14:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/GirfecFalkirk\/?page_id=3354"},"modified":"2022-03-23T16:00:28","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T16:00:28","slug":"model-for-improvement-in-falkirk","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/fvpp\/model-for-improvement-in-falkirk\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality Improvement in Falkirk"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>How are we using Quality Improvement in Falkirk?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.scot\/Resource\/0042\/00426552.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Using the 3 Step Improvement Framework for Scotland&#8217;s Public Services<\/a>, we are applying quality improvement to our work and plans to make sure we are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>working with communities and making best use of data\/ local information to identify our priorities<\/li>\n<li>focusing our resources on the correct interventions in the right places<\/li>\n<li>improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are using Quality Improvement to underpin our planning across the Children&#8217;s Commission and individual services. The programme began with a <a href=\"http:\/\/2019.10.24-CPP-Leaders-Briefing-Slides\">leaders briefing<\/a> and involves 4 levels of learning for QI. We are also developing an improvement project around mental health and wellbeing (MHWB) to help us focus our efforts on key priorities for MHWB.
