{"id":10900,"date":"2024-09-10T13:32:55","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T12:32:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/fvpp\/?page_id=10900"},"modified":"2024-09-13T10:53:40","modified_gmt":"2024-09-13T09:53:40","slug":"the-independent-living-fund","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/fvpp\/learning-development\/the-independent-living-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"The Independent Living Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Independent Living Fund (ILF) reopened on 1st April 2024, allowing a maximum of 30 applications from Falkirk HSCP for the first year.<\/p>\n<p>The eligibility criteria is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 There must be a minimum of \u00a3800 per week from social work already going into the package<br \/>\n\u2022 The person must be 16 or over (no upper age limit)<br \/>\n\u2022 The support must be additional to eligible need that would be met by social work<br \/>\n\u2022 They will prioritise people that are at risk of going into residential care or where independence is at serious risk<br \/>\n\u2022 The maximum award will be \u00a3330 per week<br \/>\n\u2022 There is no financial assessment<\/p>\n<p>The application process is fairly straightforward, and Robert White from ILF is happy for anyone that wants to complete an application, to contact him so he can support them through the process.
