Training for teachers and technicians working with radioactive sources.
The course will cover:
Working with radioactivity – what the law requires.
How to carry out common experiments (practical session).
How to leak test (practical session).
If your school has a GM tube and counter, please bring it along if you are able to do so. Parts of this course are hands-on and we think it would be useful if you got to know the apparatus in use in your own establishment.
