The sciences curriculum area provides learners with the knowledge and skills to flourish in an increasingly globalised world, including: scientific literacy, inquiry and investigative skills and analytical thinking skills.<\/p>\n<p>The sciences curriculum plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of Scotland\u2019s <a class=\"pdf\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/Resource\/0052\/00526536.pdf\">STEM Education and Training Strategy<\/a>.
