West Partnership Practitioner Network

Educational Psychology Services

About Our Network

There are eight local authority Educational Psychology Services (EPS) within the Glasgow City Region Education Improvement Collaborative, also known as The West Partnership. These services seek to ensure that they work collaboratively to support the vision, culture and purpose of The West Partnership.

The West Partnership – Educational Psychology Services Group

Principal EPs and senior managers from each of the Educational Psychology Services in The West Partnership meet on a quarterly basis, aiming to;

  • support the critical activities and indicators linked to the GCREIC Improvement plan through increasing the collaboration of the Educational Psychology Services in the Glasgow City Region Authorities
  • share best EPS practice and emerging research across the Glasgow City Region to ensure maximum impact of the EPS Partnership in supporting the raising attainment agenda
  • work within the Partnership to identify emerging themes and additional areas for purposeful collaboration as the partnership develops

(The West Partnership – Educational Psychology Services Group Terms of Reference)

The West Partnership EPS Practitioner Network

Educational Psychologists recognise the benefits of collaborating and sharing examples of best practice and emerging research across the West Partnership.  In order to strengthen partnership working across services at a practitioner level, the West Partnership EPS Practitioner Network was established.  Our network meets on a regular basis with the purpose of supporting the aims set out by Principal Educational Psychologists in the Terms of Reference (above).
