About the organisation
Founded in 2003, KCP is a specialist provider of materials transfer and waste management solutions. Servicing clients across the UK, KCP runs a fleet of specially adapted vehicles that can suck and jet waste, with numerous applications from draining culverts and slurry from drains to cleaning and maintaining grain stores and industrial pipework. Based in Ayrshire, KCP is a family business owned by Wendy Pring, a civil engineer, and her husband Karl.
Enterprise activity in schools
KCP is committed to working with the local community and Wendy is a passionate advocate for getting more young women and girls involved in science and technology. She is actively involved with numerous schools projects including EDT Scotland, Primary Engineer and the Cumnock Plastic Products programme.
