Today marked the beginning of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015, with Scotland celebrating the launch with a special event at West Lothian College.
The event, hosted by Young Enterprise Scotland, featured talks from Angela Constance MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, award winning young entrepreneur Josh Quigley and Scotland’s Enterprising Schools Project Manager Heather Hughes.
Angela Constance told those in attendance – including primary and secondary pupils from local schools – about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship to the economy, noting to all budding entrepreneurs: “Your country needs you.”
