{"id":16672,"date":"2017-05-31T14:43:14","date_gmt":"2017-05-31T13:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/eslb\/?p=16672"},"modified":"2017-05-31T14:43:14","modified_gmt":"2017-05-31T13:43:14","slug":"dyw-cosla-event-21-june-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/dyw20\/2017\/05\/31\/dyw-cosla-event-21-june-17\/","title":{"rendered":"DYW COSLA event:  21 June 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">COSLA is hosting a national Developing Scotland\u2019s Young Workforce (DYW) Event on Wednesday 21 June at the COSLA Conference Centre, Verity House, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">The purpose of the event will be to provide a strategic update on the progress of the DYW Programme as well as to share and promote best practice relating to DYW.\u00a0\u00a0 The event will also seek feedback to inform COSLA\u2019s position on DYW going forward, given Local Government\u2019s central role in leading the programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">The event will involve a presentation from Elma Murray, SOLACE as well as speakers from a diverse group of local authorities from across the country.\u00a0 A number of examples of practice relating to DYW implementation will be shared followed by discussions on how DYW is progressing, challenges to DYW and how they can be addressed.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">The event will start at 9.45am and finish at 12.30pm with lunch provided afterwards.\u00a0\u00a0 An agenda will be issued early next week.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COSLA is hosting a national Developing Scotland\u2019s Young Workforce (DYW) Event on Wednesday 21 June at the COSLA Conference Centre, Verity House, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh.
