exemplars have now been published on Education Scotland&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/improvement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Improvement Hub<\/a>, taking account the increasing number of activities around the implementation of this agenda.\u00a0 These exemplars aim to inspire thinking and discussion around a\u00a0particular project or\u00a0key issue\u00a0as well as\u00a0to provide people\u00a0with contacts to collaborate as they progress on their journeys to enhance children and young peoples&#8217; opportunities to develop skills for learning, life and work.<\/p>\n<p>The following exemplars are\u00a0available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edscot.org.uk\/LQE-49WFF-49RSC3-250SF4-1\/c.aspx\"><u>Skills Academy programme<\/u><\/a> at St Matthew\u2019s Academy (North <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/eslb\/files\/2016\/06\/IMG_0636.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14714 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/eslb\/files\/2016\/06\/IMG_0636-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0636\" width=\"165\" height=\"123\" \/><\/a>Ayrshire): Young people gain vital employability and life skills through this unique initiative.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edscot.org.uk\/LQE-49WFF-49RSC3-250SF5-1\/c.aspx\"><u>SCOTS programme at Forth Valley College<\/u><\/a>: Helps\u00a0 learners consider college courses as a progression route in the senior phase.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edscot.org.uk\/LQE-49WFF-49RSC3-250SF6-1\/c.aspx\"><u>Kibble Education and Care Centre:<\/u><\/a> Delivers a wide range of uniquely integrated services to equip disadvantaged young people with the skills and experience to pursue a fulfilling career and a brighter future<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edscot.org.uk\/LQE-49WFF-49RSC3-250SF7-1\/c.aspx\"><u>2+3 pilot project in East Ayrshire:<\/u><\/a> Re-engages young people in the senior phase to peruse industry-focused learning\u00a0 pathways.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edscot.org.uk\/LQE-49WFF-49RSC3-250SF8-1\/c.aspx\"><u>Developing Career Management Skills<\/u><\/a> \u2013 Millburn Area School Group: An education\/transition programme across the ASG in Inverness to enhance employability and literacy skills at the same time.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edscot.org.uk\/LQE-49WFF-49RSC3-250SF9-1\/c.aspx\"><u>Clyde Gateway<\/u><\/a>: Scotland\u2019s most ambitious regeneration project, has joined up with education to transform the lives of young people in Glasgow\u2019s East End.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next exemplifications in the series will be released at the beginning of the new term in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first six &#8216;DYW interesting practice&#8217;
