Students can take part in one or more categories to develop new skills and confidence to engage creatively with human rights.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty has awards and teaching resources to support five different catagories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventsforce.net\/amnestyuk\/system\/proweb\/start.csp?pageID=1676&amp;eventID=4\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reporter<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventsforce.net\/amnestyuk\/system\/proweb\/start.csp?pageID=1678&amp;eventID=4\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Photographer<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventsforce.net\/amnestyuk\/system\/proweb\/start.csp?pageID=1680&amp;eventID=4\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Songwriter<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventsforce.net\/amnestyuk\/system\/proweb\/start.csp?pageID=1682&amp;eventID=4\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Campaigner<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventsforce.net\/amnestyuk\/system\/proweb\/start.csp?pageID=1684&amp;eventID=4\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fundraiser<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Awards run in conjunction with the Times Educational Supplement and this year&#8217;s judges include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Sir Richard Branson &#8211; ambassador of Amnesty&#8217;s Youth Awards<\/li>\n<li>Sir Trevor McDonald OBE &#8211; judge, Young Reporter strand<\/li>\n<li>Krishnan Guru-Murthy &#8211; judge, Young Reporter strand<\/li>\n<li>Rankin &#8211; judge, Photographer strand<\/li>\n<li>Kate Nash &#8211; judge, Singer-Songwriter strand<\/li>\n<li>Owen Jones &#8211; judge, Campaigner strand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Amnesty Youth Awards bit.ly\/132PPRy celebrates young people&#8217;s talents for human rights reporting, photography, songwriting (and performing), campaigning and fundraising.
