Being selected as an Apple Regional Training Centre highlights our commitment to facilitating training for teachers to develop skills and build confidence to use Apple technology in the classroom.<\/p>\n

Apple Regional Training Centres create a community to share best practice and support teaching staff to attain Apple Teacher status, a professional learning programme designed to support and celebrate educators.<\/p>\n

Teachers from across the region can attend courses to build their knowledge and skills using technology in the classroom and earn badges to achieve their Apple Teacher recognition.<\/p>\n

Across the UK and Ireland, the goals of all Apple Regional Training Centres are to:<\/p>\n

facilitate training opportunities for teachers to develop skills using Apple technology in the classroom<\/p>\n

promote Apple in Education and share new products and innovations with educators<\/p>\n

build Apple Teacher across the region<\/p>\n

share best practices, build community and inspire excellence.<\/p>\n

Apple Teacher is a free professional learning programme designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. As an educator, you can build skills on iPad\u00a0 that directly apply to activities with your students, earn recognition for the new things you learn, and be rewarded for the great work you do every day. You\u2019ll be able to add the professional learning hours to your GTCS update and gain confidence in unleashing the creative potential built in to the iPad.<\/p>\n

When you sign up for Apple Teacher, you\u2019ll start a self\u2011paced journey through the Apple Teacher Learning Center and Multi-Touch starter guides for iPad.<\/p>\n

The programme is open to all educators and is a great way for schools and education authorities to offer free professional learning that their staff can work through together. Whether you\u2019re new to Apple products or have been using them for years, whether you have a single device or one for every student \u2014 Apple Teacher has the tools you need to use iPad to connect with all learners.<\/p>\n
