This session is part of the This is… Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety CLPL programme. Participants will explore how to identify the most common potential risks to children and young people online, and develop action plans to support learners and their families when things do go wrong online. This will include ‘big ideas’ such as:
  • Understanding how we use devices online to consume, create and communicate and the potential risks associated with each
  • The importance of calm and open dialogue with, and between, learners and their families
  • The significance of Technology Assisted Harmful Sexual Behaviour and how to identify and support with this

Participants will then reflect on, discuss and contribute ideas to examples of strategies and activities for these and how to support colleagues this.

Examples of cyber resilience and internet safety planning, resources and partners will be shared.
