In today\u2019s digital world, learning how to stay secure online is just as important as staying safe in the real world.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just as children learn to lock their doors at home, they can also learn how to \u201clock\u201d their digital spaces.\u00a0<\/span>\u201cCy Bear at School – Keeping Safe and Secure Online\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/b>is packed with\u00a0clear explanations, colourful storytelling and engaging hands-on invitations to explore\u00a0play\u00a0and learn together.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Passwords have been the cornerstone of online security for decades, helping to protect our digital identities and sensitive information from unauthorised access.”<\/em> – National Cyber Security Centre.<\/p>\n

This bright, friendly storybook introduces\u00a0children\u00a0to the\u00a0importance\u00a0of securing devices\u00a0by highlighting where teachers\u00a0use\u00a0passcodes and passwords in a primary school setting.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through simple language and fun illustrations, Cy Bear helps children understand the importance of strong passwords and good digital habits – turning every child into a\u00a0<\/span>Cyber Security Hero!\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Join Cy Bear and his best friend, Cy Bee, on a buzzing adventure through school as they teach the basics of cyber security.\u202f\u202f\u202fA fun, friendly story that turns every child (and bee!) into a real Cyber Security Hero!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a\u202fgift from the Scottish Government, each Primary One child in Scotland will receive their very own copy of \u201c<\/span>Cy Bear at School – Keeping Safe and Secure Online\u201d<\/span><\/b> in August 2026 and will have the opportunity to join in live read alongs, (delivered by Education Scotland) with their class throughout 2026\/27.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
