Increasingly these are for brands or individual &#8216;influencers&#8217;. They usually share short videos (sometimes live), photos and short pieces of text (posts).<\/p>\n<p>These platforms also offer direct messaging and the ability to &#8216;tag&#8217; other people in the posts or content &#8211; usually with @username.<\/p>\n<p>It might be useful to think of these services in the context of their main media:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instagram &#8211; photos<\/li>\n<li>Twitter &#8211; short texts (posts)<\/li>\n<li>TikTok &#8211; short videos<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"builder-section-text_79\" class=\"builder-section-prev-text builder-section builder-section-text builder-section-next-text builder-text-columns-1\" style=\"background-size: cover;
