Monday 25th January
‘No More Worksheets’ with Forms and Quizzes workshop (O365 and G Suite)
Lunchtime drop-in any time between 1230 – 1330
This session will explore the use of Forms to create learning materials for you class. We’ll look at how to make a quiz, add videos and other content and have create some example questions or quizzes based on the ideas you share, ie. what multiple choice questions would you use for a Romans quiz, or why would I use text input for science?
We’ll look at examples with O365 and G Suite Forms.
This session will require a Glow login and will be recorded.

This webinar will explore some quick and useful strategies for teaching numeracy in and out of the classroom. It will also focus on digital tools to support you deliver this learning during the current online learnign phase. A Glow login is required for this session.

4pm – Google Classroom for Beginners – Delivered by Google trainers for Scottish education
Aimed at teachers and teaching assistants working with children who have not used Google Classroom much or at all to manage learning in one place.
Your own G Suite for Education account may not be allowed to join the demo Classroom based on your school’s settings, so you will have the option of using a demo account or be a student in the Classroom. You can also follow along and create a Classroom of your own in your own G Suite for Education account as Google trainers go through the content.

Managing a Digital Day in the Primary School

This session will look at how a digital day could look with ideas on planning, delivery and assessment of learning. The focus will be on establishing routines and activities that can be used to create routine for learners and develop educators’ confidence with a few ideas for the basis of online learning.
This will be followed by other sessions that will explore other sectors, curricular areas and digital skills.
