22 September, 12:30 – 13:15 What Does Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety Look Like in Primary and Secondary Schools?

This pre-recorded session will explore opportunities for Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety (CRIS) learning, key messages to engage learners with meaningful, relevant and engaging CRIS learning and an overview of the brand new CRIS Teacher Toolkit from Education Scotland.

The key aim of this session is to introduce educators to our CRIS Toolkit on digilearn.scot. This is designed to support cyber resilience and internet safety learning as part of the curriculum but also when dealing with incidents that could be turned into teachable moments.

It will explain the difference between cyber resilience and internet safety and how educators can support learners with engaging and relevant learning. Increasing educator confidence in this area will enable them to respond to ‘internet incidents’ more effectively.
