Throughout 2016 Children’s Parliament is working with children in 8 schools in the City of Edinburgh to investigate bullying. Through the lens of children’s human rights we are exploring what children need to be healthy, happy and safe at home, school and in the community.
In each school a team of CP Investigators are meeting with Children’s Parliament staff to explore children’s perspectives on what bullying is and what can be done about it. Their ideas and investigations will be shared with the City of Edinburgh Council to help influence the Council’s understanding of bullying in schools. Our school partners are Abbeyhill Primary, Flora Stevenon Primary, Hermitage Park Primary, Granton Primary, James Gillespie’s Primary, St. John’s RC Primary, St. Peters RC Primary and Wardie Primary.
Children’s Parliament Investigates… is delivered in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council and supported by Young Start: Big Lottery.
