Group Responses<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-6c531013 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technologies play a vital part in delivering the four capacities by providing relevant, real-world learning that supports employability, innovation, and ethical understanding. &nbsp;They enable young people to develop resilience, creativity, and curiosity whilst solving meaningful problems in context. &nbsp;By encouraging learners to become creators rather than consumers,Technologies help translate theory into practice, bridge the gap between education &amp; industry and address key skills shortages. &nbsp;Through a focus on collaboration, adaptability and responsible use of technology. Technologies equip learners to thrive in a dynamic, sustainable, and inclusive economy.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The technologies curriculum challenges learners to critically engage with the world around them using technology to learn with and learn through. &nbsp;It affords opportunities to plan, create,test, refine and evaluate with opportunities for critical thinking. &nbsp;Through this, learners can make sense of the world,accessing opportunities that relate to skills for the real world. &nbsp;Learners can understand their place in the world and the impact technologies have on society and the environment. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the technology curriculum, children and young people are encouraged to explore the real-world impact of decisions, choices and ideas, whether designing a product, building a digital solution, or launching a business idea. &nbsp;They engage with ethical and societal issues and their impact on the environment and the economy. &nbsp;The fusion of creative freedom and appropriate technical precision builds confidence, nurtures curiosity and prepares them to thrive as digitally literate, socially aware contributors in a dynamic and rapidly evolving world. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Like technology, we adapt and change. &nbsp;We provide real-life scenarios that offer opportunities for all learners to thrive in the world through developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. &nbsp;We support learners to be creative and confident in choosing and selecting the tools to overcome.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Technologies curriculum empowers learners to think critically, act creatively, and tackle real-world challenges through innovation, enterprise and design. It develops skills in problem finding and&nbsp;solving,and&nbsp;promotes the use of design thinking approaches.&nbsp;\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learners investigate how products, systems and services are created and improved, with thoughtful consideration of their impact on the environment, society and the economy. Through practical, IDL experiences, the curriculum nurtures resilience, collaboration and informed decision making, preparing young people to shape a sustainable and inclusive future for Scotland and beyond.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Technologies curriculum equips learners with the skills and mindsets to solve real-world, meaningful problems using creative, ethical, and sustainable approaches. It fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and digital literacy,encouraging learners to become confident creators who understand the impact of technology on society and the environment. By bridging education and industry, it prepares young people to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The purpose of technologies is to nurture creativity and curiosity in learners. Preparing learners for an ever-changing world, giving them the tools, confidence and skills to make conscious,informed and ethical decisions. &nbsp;Technologies encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the young people of Scotland&nbsp;as they develop their innovation muscle and forge their own path. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The purpose of Technologies is to address human needs and solve problems by providing tools, processes and systems that improves our lives and facilitates various activities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Technologies curriculum empowers learners to become creative, critical thinkers who use ethical and sustainable approaches to solve real-world,meaningful problems using specialist tools and&nbsp;software.
