This is especially important within a Gaelic Medium setting.<\/p>\n<p>Parents\/carers are encouraged to learn Gaelic to support the children. There are a range of Gaelic classes across the city both available online and in-person.\u00a0 If the children see Gaelic as part of their life it will have more meaning rather than it being a school language.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever your lifestyle, or family situation, it is never too soon (or too late) to start helping a child develop a positive attitude towards learning.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the ways you can get involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Normalise Gaelic in your home &#8211; TV, Radio, online resources, songs and books<\/li>\n<li>Help your child with Home Learning activities<\/li>\n<li>Ask them about what they are learning in school<\/li>\n<li>Comment on your child&#8217;s work on Seesaw<\/li>\n<li>Read our newsletters and curriculum newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Accompany us on trips<\/li>\n<li>Lend us your expertise in subjects related to the curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Support the Parent Council<\/li>\n<li>Attend school events: curricular workshops, coffee mornings, sports day, assemblies etc<\/li>\n<li>Inform us of any relevant issues that may be affecting your child in school<\/li>\n<li>Attend Parents&#8217; Evening appointments<\/li>\n<li>Complete feedback forms when they are issued.
