In P6Bt we have been learning . . .

 

 ART-

 

In art we sewed a thistle and made it into a calendar for 2024 it was really fun !

Also in art we have split a tree ( on paper obviously ) into  4 sections and coloured them in for each season and painted them with water colours and then  turned them into calendars as well.     

 

Euroquiz –  

 

Primary sixes all over scotland join and compete in a competition  about the EU (European  Union ) we have 2 teams of 4 competitors and 2 reserves (in case anyone is off) in the first round team 1 got 29 /60 team 2 got 34/60.only 12 teams move  on to the next round .we are hoping that we move on

Maths –

 

In maths we have been learning lots of different methods to subtract multiply and divide. we have also been doing shapes, percentages and fractions.We have also learnt a couple of methods to help us to solve the problems we have been given.Some of these are partitioning,repeated addition and subtraction,bus stop method and  column addition.

Reading-

In reading we have read some books here are some of our favourites.Ghost of Bracken Hill, I wish I wish,Paradise high,The Invisible Boy.We have  also been learning to find reporting clausus and describing words in the text.

P.E

In P.E we have done many cool and fun things like:

Football

Basketball

Hockey

Netball

Tennis
