Ardmay Activities 2018

Throughout the week children have been in 4 Activity Groups.

Each group have taken part in the following activities:

Forest Walk

Mission Explore – walking up the Cobbler.

Conservation – Working towards the John Muir award and taking part in activities such as Beach Clean, learning about Biodiversity and building Bug Hotels.

Rock Climbing and Abseiling

Canoeing and Water Games in the Bay.

Weaseling – climbing and exploring caves and rocks.

Evening activities have included learning to put on a quilt cover and make their own bed, games night, Quizzes, Scavenger Hunt, Environmental activities, team games, John Muir Award activities and even a DVD chill out time.

Due to the nature of some of the activities, weather, timings of the day and groups, it was not possible to photograph all the children all the time. Hopefully we captured enough so that you can share in the conversation about memories from Ardmay on their return.

Every day the children have been responsible for keeping their rooms tidy, setting and clearing their  lunch tables and being responsible for all activity equipment. They have worked together throughout the week and supported each other when they have missed their families.  Parents you should be really proud. We are!

On the last day the children will tidy up their rooms, have lunch and then make the journey home, hopefully with lasting memories!
