For example, children have visited local shops to buy exotic fruits after reading\u00a0<em>Handa\u2019s Surprise<\/em>, explored Glasgow Green on a Gruffalo adventure, and enjoyed visits to the Riverside Museum when exploring different types of transport and also the Glasgow Museum of Modern Art.<\/p>\n<p>For Summer the team have planned trips to Sarti\u2019s Restaurant in Glasgow where the children get the chance to make their own pizzas.\u00a0 They will also be visiting international supermarkets to buy various exotic fruits and veg to make smoothies and muffins at our Nursery and visiting Glasgow Museum for Modern Art in Exchange Square (with introduction to the Duke of Wellington Statute, with the decades-long tradition of locals placing a bright orange traffic cone on the Duke&#8217;s head and the children are always amazed at this!<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h1>Bookbug Sessions<\/h1>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We love sharing stories, songs and rhymes together!<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Our popular\u00a0<strong>Bookbug Sessions<\/strong>\u00a0take place every week and families are warmly invited to join us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Enjoy stories and songs together<\/li>\n<li>Meet other families<\/li>\n<li>Get to know our nursery before your child starts<\/li>\n<li>Support your child\u2019s language and literacy development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Bookbug is also a lovely way to help children become familiar with the nursery as part of their transition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Please see our latest newsletter for current session times or ask a member of staff for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please click on the following links to find out more information PATHS STEAM Learning Learning Beyond the Playroom Learning at Adelphi Nursery doesn\u2019t stop at the classroom door!
