We welcome your involvement in all aspects of the nursery.<\/p>\n<p>We have an &#8216;open door&#8217; approach at the nursery and are happy to talk to you at any time. If you have any comments, questions or worries you wish to express, please do not hesitate in approaching either Karen or any member of the staff team.<\/p>\n<p>In addition we wish to Celebrate the Learning and encourage our families to share the Learning that takes place at home. This ranges from children<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0Sharing a bedtime story at the end of a busy day<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0Helping in the Kitchen (sorting things, or baking, or helping to put out cutlery etc)<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0Colouring in, games, puzzles, sharing with their sibling or friend<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0Spending time outdoors in natural environment is good for us all and especially for children<\/p>\n<p>Attending an event such as a wedding, holiday, day trip etc<\/p>\n<p>Some of our own earliest recollection will be of outdoor play at the local play park, or digging with buckets and spades.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Involvement in Activities like swimming, gymnastics, ball games etc.<\/p>\n<p>Parents are welcome to share the learning by emailing us photos of your children&#8217;s experiences.\u00a0 This strengthens the home to nursery partnership.\u00a0 Sharing photos, stories, achievements, drawings, hobbies or family activities helps children feel that their home life is recognised and celebrated.\u00a0Children enjoy sharing their experiences with others and feel proud when their family contributions are valued and it extends their language skills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parental Engagement Parents are welcome to work alongside children and staff in the playroom or to bring their special talents into our setting.
