Curriculum on the Curriculum for Excellence, which and supports children in becoming responsible citizens, effective communicators, successful learners and confident individuals.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\"><u><strong>3-5 Room<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">The Curriculum for Excellence is based on the following 7 principles:<\/p>\n<ul ensure your child\u2019s interests and learning needs are met using the above principles of the curriculum with a focus on the National Priorities:\u00a0Literacy, Health &amp; Wellbeing and Numeracy.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">We also use Realising\u00a0the Ambition,\u00a0How good is our early learning and childcare? and other national documents to support us in providing the best possible education for your\u00a0child.\u00a0 Please have a look at these documents in our entrance.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Your child will be consulted about their\u00a0learning, and\u00a0offered a wide range of learning experiences in a carefully planned learning environment, supported by qualified staff.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">The opportunities offered will contribute to the overall development of your child.\u00a0 The learning environment and planned\u00a0programme\u00a0of the Nursery will encourage your child to ask questions, to seek explanations, to solve problems, to develop self-awareness and to develop communication skills.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Your child will be able take part in activities individually, as part of a small group or in a larger group.\u00a0 There will be opportunities for free play and to take part in planned learning experiences delivered by the staff team, 10\/15 minutes during each session is spent at \u201cGroup time\u201d where children will take part in their own group activities and learn to share, take turns and co-operate.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">\n<u><strong>2 \u2013 3 Room<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Glasgow City Council use \u201cThe\u00a0Pre Birth\u00a0to Three Document\u201d and \u201cRealising the Ambition\u201d to plan for children\u2019s learning within this age group.\u00a0 There is a huge emphasis on using natural and\u00a0real life\u00a0resources to enrich and support
