{"id":758,"date":"2017-09-01T08:38:56","date_gmt":"2017-09-01T08:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/able\/?p=758"},"modified":"2017-09-01T08:38:56","modified_gmt":"2017-09-01T08:38:56","slug":"good-writing-wanted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/able\/2017\/09\/01\/good-writing-wanted\/","title":{"rendered":"Good writing wanted!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SQA\u00a0are looking for examples of candidate writing from session 2016-17 to feature in\u00a0their publication, <em>Write Times 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Write Times 2<\/em> is an anthology of the best examples of writing in SQA assessments and is a follow-up to <a href=\"http:\/\/mailer.sqa.org.uk\/track\/92bed495-409f-47f4-b2e2-a7e00103de80?t=81d1c6665f701ad91026c5b1dbac57c2\">Write Times<\/a>, which was published in 2007. It will be available in early 2018 as an e-book which can be downloaded for free.<\/p>\n<p>They are inviting\u00a0 you to submit examples of internally assessed candidate writing from <strong>National 3<\/strong>, <strong>National 4<\/strong> and <strong>Higher National (HN) <\/strong>courses that demonstrate excellence and reflect the wide range of forms that writing can take, including: poetry, drama, prose, fiction and prose non-fiction (reporting, reflection and discussion). The examples will be chosen for their creativity, sensitivity of expression, depth of thought and perception, and their imaginative and skilful use of language.<\/p>\n<p>To submit examples of your candidates&#8217; writing for consideration, please e-mail them to <a href=\"http:\/\/mailer.sqa.org.uk\/track\/4638c124-af3d-4a08-a8c6-a7e00103ded4?t=81d1c6665f701ad91026c5b1dbac57c2\">writetimes@sqa.org.uk<\/a> by <strong>Friday 15 September<\/strong>.
