schools which have worked to create <a href=\"https:\/\/literacyforpleasure.wordpress.com\/2017\/01\/03\/creating-a-community-of-readers-the-power-of-dear\/\">communities of readers <\/a>and resources Minister&#8217;s Reading Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>74% of primary schools across Scotland took part in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.readingchallenge.scot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">First Minister&#8217;s Reading Challenge <\/a>in 2016-2017.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>From 2017\/2018 the challenge is being extended to P1-3 pupils.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Remember you can
