It could relate to the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ltscotland.org.uk\/stemcentral\/contexts\/transport\/learningjourneys\/modelling\/index.asp\">\u00a0Modelling\u00a0learning journey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Learners design, test and modify a crumple zone for a vehicle to achieve and measure the maximum reduction in the force of an impact. This is an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.science3-18.org\/sserc\/\">SSERC<\/a> activity that has been added to so that it can be used in the classroom with an engineering focus.
