Participating in in-service today provided an opportunity to talk with practitioners around learning and teaching in science and share some of the ways in which\u00a0Education\u00a0 Scotland can provide support. Issues\u00a0explored included assessment and moderation, a shared understanding of standards, progression, meeting the needs of learners, transitions, using effective partnerships\u00a0and keeping the curriculum alive and relevant to inspire young learners.<\/p>\n

Food for Thought leaflet and poster – we will shortly be developing the new Food Security context for STEM Central<\/p>\n

STEM Central Learning Journeys from the Sound context, early years and first level due for publication later this month, and the draft second level journeys due for publication within the next few months<\/p>\n
