\u00a3400,000 of new funding has been made available for professional learning to help deliver inspirational teaching in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects across Scotland. Science Summer School at Edinburgh Zoo\/Highland Wildlife Park<\/h4>\n<\/header>\n

The Science Summer School at Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park will take place during the summer holidays and is free for students aged 16-18 years. Apply by 17 May.<\/p>\n

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland also have a distance learning option this year called \u2018Zoo Studies\u2019.<\/p>\n

Similar to the Science Summer School, there is a cost for this option.<\/p>\n

Students can earn a ZEBRA Award by passing the assessments.<\/p>\n

The Primary Science Teaching Trust has a new series of webinars this term:<\/p>\n

12th May: The Geological Society<\/strong>, with the PSTT\u2019s Ruth Shallcross<\/strong>
\n19th May: The WWF<\/strong>, with the PSTT\u2019s Ruth Shallcross<\/strong>
\n9th June: The Natural History Museum<\/strong>, with the PSTT\u2019s Ruth Shallcross<\/strong>
\n16th June: The Royal College of Pathologists<\/strong>, with the PSTT\u2019s Kulvinder Johal<\/strong>
\n30th June: Leicester City in the Community<\/strong>, with PSTT\u2019s Sarah Eames<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each webinar will be delivered via Zoom and begin at 4pm, lasting around 1 hour .<\/p>\n
