of the twenty-four successful applicants who have been awarded a total of \u00a3187,000 grant funding through the <i>Enhancing Professional Learning in STEM <\/i>Grants Programme. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px;color: #595959;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Launched in\u00a0October 2018, the grants programme\u00a0aims to to build the capacity and confidence of practitioners and to support the implementation of the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px;color: #0070c0;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/science-technology-engineering-mathematics-education-training-strategy-scotland\/\">STEM Education and Training Strategy for Scotland<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px;color: #595959;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">. These exciting opportunities have been developed by a wide range of national partners to support practitioners working in early learning and childcare, primary, secondary and community learning and development settings.\u00a0\u00a0School-based technical support staff will also benefit from new professional learning.
