In addition, this may develop a new route for new Citizen Scientists to become involved in wildlife recording activities. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">If the Citizen Science activities can be rewarded with an accredited certificate it may add value to the activity of data collection, providing an opportunity for Citizen Scientists to demonstrate achievement and gain recognition for activity and progress. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\"> <span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">The Conservation Volunteers<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\"> would like to capture your thoughts and opinions to find out if Citizen Science needs accreditation to make it more valuable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">It would be appreciated <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">if you could complete the survey, \u2018<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.co.uk\/r\/LLMYRCV\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;font-family: Calibri\">Citizen Science and Accreditation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">\u2019 by <b>Thursday 18<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> February<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Scotland Counts project, The Conservation Volunteers\u00a0are conducting some research to investigate if accreditation in Citizen Science would add value and benefit your organisations, learners, community groups and the recording community in general.
