S4-S6 learners can enter a creative writing competition based upon the works of Robert Louis Stevenson.<\/p>\n
Prizes for the competition<\/p>\n
The entries will be judged by acclaimed author <\/span>Louise Welsh<\/span><\/span><\/b>, who will also lead a <\/span>writing workshop <\/span><\/span><\/b>for the best entrants, with up to twelve places on offer. All those selected will receive a certificate and <\/span>a year\u2019s free membership <\/span><\/span><\/b>of the Edinburgh Robert Louis Stevenson Club.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition, <\/span>four individual awards of \u00a3100 <\/span><\/span><\/b>are available for Fiction, Reflective Writing, Poetry and Writing in Scots (in any of these three forms). There will also a trophy for the overall winner\u2019s school.<\/span><\/p>\n Fiction, Reflective Writing, Poetry<\/p>\n The piece submitted should be directly inspired by Stevenson\u2019s writing or some aspect of his life.
