Or perhaps you are aware of establishments that demonstrate good practice?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Scottish Learning Festival 2016 will take place on <strong>Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 September<\/strong> in the SECC, Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Scottish Learning Festival 2016: <\/strong>Promoting excellence and equity for all through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>school leadership and school improvement;<\/li>\n<li>assessing children\u2019s progress and parental engagement; and<\/li>\n<li>teacher professionalism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As you will see, this year&#8217;s theme actively promotes the key drivers of improvement in the National Improvement Framework. Full details of the theme, along with the online submission form, are available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottishlearningfestival.org.uk\/\">SLF website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to submit a proposal for consideration, please do so before <strong>Friday 19 February<\/strong>.\u00a0 All proposals must be submitted online.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Proposals received after the closing date will not be considered for inclusion in the conference programme.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is a robust review, evaluation and scoring system in place to help ensure that all submissions are treated equally therefore it is essential that all requests to participate go through the submission process and adhere to the timescales.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last year we received in excess of 300 proposals for the 100 seminar places which allowed Education Scotland to deliver a relevant and balanced conference programme covering all key areas of education.\u00a0 The 2016 conference programme and registration will be launched in May and will feature the sessions that have been submitted and selected for inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to receiving your proposals and hope you will contribute to SLF 2016 to help continue to deliver Scotland\u2019s largest annual national education event.\u00a0 If you would like any further information about SLF 2016, please contact the <a href=\"mailto:SLF@educationscotland.gov.uk\">SLF team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The call for seminar proposals for the SLF 2016 programme is now open.\u00a0 The Festival will once again host around 100 seminars over the two days and you are invited to submit a proposal to be part of the programme. &nbsp; Is there a project you have been working on that could be showcased?
