Using design thinking tools and<\/p>\n<p>methodologies, individuals and organisations are able to develop empathy<\/p>\n<p>for the people they are designing for (i.e. pupils, students, teachers,<\/p>\n<p>lecturers, staff etc), challenge their own assumptions and understand<\/p>\n<p>their underlying motivations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr Scott Sherwood is a widely published academic and has led<\/p>\n<p>organisational change initiatives, including the innovation programme in<\/p>\n<p>the Technology Strategy Board\u2019s \u00a324 million Future City Demonstrator.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This workshops is open to head teachers, teachers, SLA\u2019s, education<\/p>\n<p>officers, early year\u2019s educators, lecturers (FE and HE), students,<\/p>\n<p>arts development officers, CLD officers, youth workers, community<\/p>\n<p>workers etc. This workshop would also be of interest to creative<\/p>\n<p>practitioners working in a learning \/ community context. In<\/p>\n<p>partnership with Falkirk Council Education we host a number of talks and<\/p>\n<p>professional development opportunities during the year.
