{"id":2741,"date":"2014-01-16T12:41:03","date_gmt":"2014-01-16T12:41:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/CreativityPortalAdmin\/?p=2741"},"modified":"2014-01-16T12:41:03","modified_gmt":"2014-01-16T12:41:03","slug":"impress-scottish-school-media-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/CreativityPortalAdmin\/2014\/01\/16\/impress-scottish-school-media-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"imPRESS Scottish School Media Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/impresscotland.co.uk\/\"><strong>Creative pupils invited to \u2018impress\u2019 at the Scottish School Media Awards<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pupils attending Scotland\u2019s secondary schools are being encouraged to submit their print or online \u2018newspaper\u2019 for the Scottish School Media Awards, with the best of the entries from Scotland\u2019s young creative talent being revealed at a ceremony in Edinburgh on Friday 13 June.<\/p>\n<p>The awards aim to encourage young people into careers in publishing and the creative industries, and are of particular interest to pupils who have an interest in writing, photography, design and business, giving them a unique opportunity to demonstrate their organisational skills, team work and creative flair, while gaining hands-on experience in managing a project from start to finish.<\/p>\n<p>There are 14 categories, from outstanding features to the most exceptional finished magazine or newspaper.
