Extend will support up to 15 mid-career colleagues. The programme aims to give participants the confidence and skills to achieve a greater degree of leadership in the future. This could be through gaining a leadership position or through achievements that raise the status of the profession as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Deadline now extended to<\/strong> <strong>10am on Monday 16 April 2012 *<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nFunding has been secured from Arts Council England for engage to deliver a leadership programme for colleagues working in learning and education in the arts and cultural sectors from 2012-15. Additional support has been provided by Creative Scotland and the Arts Council of Wales in 2012-13 to support the participation of professionals working in Scotland and Wales respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Building on feedback from the pilot programme, Extend will comprise:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\">A training needs analysis <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\">Two residential programmes, including guest speakers and sessions on advocacy and campaigning <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\">Mentoring <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\">A joint project for participants<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\"><br \/>\nThe fee for the programme is:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\">\u00a3800 for participants working in England and Wales <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\">\u00a3400 for participants working in Scotland<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small\"><br \/>\nExtend is open to mid-career professionals (either employed or self-employed) who work in the arts in education and learning roles and are resident and working in England, Scotland or Wales.
