Following on from our popular sessions in the 2017-2018 school year, we are pleased to announce the return of Eco Drama’s Out to Play teacher CPD sessions equipping primary school teachers with the confidence and skills to deliver outdoor learning safely and creatively.
When: Wednesday 3rd October 2018
Where: Primary School in Glasgow – TBC
Time: 3.30pm-5.30pm
During the session, you will learn how to integrate outdoor learning into the Curriculum for Excellence, how to reimagine school grounds into a place of adventurous learning, and how to utilise creative learning methods such as drama, storytelling, and song to engage learners with the natural environment. We will also explore techniques for managing behaviour and safety when learning outdoors. A complimentary copy of Eco Drama’s Out to Play Resource Pack is included within the cost of this session.
“I hadn’t realised the power of imagination within outdoor learning. Really informative session, lots of ideas to start with. Thank you.” Irene Boyle, Corpus Christi Primary
