The need to make our young people more employable is unquestionable but how we do this is debatable. With future predictions pointing towards an automated world, what are the skills needed for a future work force? The Future of Jobs report published in 2016 predicts that by 2025 the top 3 skills required will be complex problem solving, critical thinking and creativity.
These are the skills used by artists every day.
Delivered in partnership with Hidden Giants, this session will explore the role of art, artists, culture and value within employability in education. It will challenge assumptions to find new ways to approach this essential part of schooling.
