Winning photograph to appear in charity calendar.

Ben Roper, aged 9, pupil at Yarrow Primary School, has been successful in the Rotary Young Photographer Scotland Competition 2012 with his entry, ‘Quiet Place’.  The prize-giving ceremony was held yesterday evening, 28 June, in Glasgow.  Ben loves the outdoors and this is reflected in his photography, especially his winning photograph of snow and trees taken in the beautiful Borders.  The theme of this year’s Rotary photography competition was ‘The last days of winter’.
