Young Scot Awards 2012 – could you nominate a young person in the Arts category?

Young Scot, the national youth information and citizenship agency for Scotland, wants to hear about inspirational young people who have made a real difference in your local area. Nominations are now open for the Young Scot Awards 2012, sponsored by The Co-operative Foundation, which celebrate the achievements of 11 – 26 year olds who have made a positive impact on the lives of others.

There are 13 categories including Sport, Arts, Enterprise, Heritage and Volunteering, with nominations open to individuals and groups aged from 11-26. Three finalists in each of the 13 categories will be selected and will be invited to the glittering awards ceremony in Hilton Glasgow Hotel on 26 April where the winners will be revealed.
