Pupils’ artwork goes on permanent display as schools consider “our place in time”

Artwork created by school children for the John Gray Centre’s opening exhibition has been returned to the three schools involved for permanent display.
Our Place in Time was an exhibition of visual art. John Gray Centre development staff worked with schools, young people and community groups to explore the archive and local history collections and then create pieces that brought together what they had learned with the children’s own memories and personal experiences. The project highlighted how the past and present can be brought together in a creative and fun way.
