Over the last three months schools in the region have been creating works of art to commemorate 60 years of the Queen’s reign. You are invited to view their achievements in an exhibition from 2 to 4 June in Kirkcudbright Town Hall.

The project was started by the Lord Lieutenant of The Stewartry of Kirkcudbright to mark The Diamond Jubilee by to engaging young people in this important event.
Ten schools have taken part in the project including Dalbeattie High School, and the primary schools Colvend, Kirkgunzeon, Auchencairn, Kirkcudbright, Gatehouse, Palnackie, Dalry, Kells, and Castle Douglas.
