The Travelling Gallery Autumn 11 exhibition, Waste Management, brings together two contemporary artists, both with an interest in transforming the familiar.
Jonathan Owen and Charlie Hammond will show new work made for the Travelling Gallery, including a series of collaborative new screen prints which form the core of the installation.

Both artists have been known to change the appearance of objects around them and use dark humour and absurdity in their work. Because of this balance of contrasts and shared concerns, this promises to be a fascinating and playful exhibition.

We hope you can join us for the launch event of the exhibition at 6pm on Thursday 25^thAugust at the City Art Centre, but there is also the opportunity to see the exhibition at the following venues during the Edinburgh Art Festival before the Travelling Gallery heads north –
