Each young person takes their own individual educational pathway through Whitehill Secondary School. At key points they make decisions about which pathway they will be taking:

• S2 young people take 8 subjects in to S3 – 5 core subjects and 3 personal choice
• S3 young people take 6 subjects in to S4 – 2 core subjects and 4 personal choice – click here for the Pathways form
• S4 young people take 5 subjects in to S5 – 2 core subjects and 3 personal choice – click here for the Pathways form
• S5 in to S6 is a choice which will ensure they achieve their full attainment potential

The subjects your young person choose will be at a level that ensures they have the best opportunities in their pathway out of school – whether that be Higher Education, College, Work, Apprenticeships etc.
