{"id":8581,"date":"2025-05-02T15:15:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-02T15:15:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/wallacewellprimary\/?p=8581"},"modified":"2025-05-05T16:16:51","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T16:16:51","slug":"p2a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/wallacewellprimary\/2025\/05\/02\/p2a\/","title":{"rendered":"P2a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week P2a were learning about fractions, the class had a lot of fun using the cubes to figure out half\u2019s and quarters and even challenged themselves further with 3 quarters and thirds.<\/p>\n<p>We began learning about procedural writing by practising sequencing a set of instructions, highlighting why it\u2019s important instructions are clear and in the correct order.<\/p>\n<p>The class also had a fun with their P6 paired reading buddies as we took it outside this week, thanks to their amazing reading the two classes got a chance to have a play together.<\/p>\n<p>In the playroom we are being history detectives learning about people, things and life in the past. So far we have learned about Victorian schools and the history of the telephone.
