COVID-19 Recovery

School Recovery Measures

As part of our Covid Recovery measures our school has been split into two cohorts with different start and finish times along with different break and lunch times. This reduces the number of children in our playgrounds and moving around in the corridors at transition times.

Cohort 1 – P1 Yellow, P2, P3, P5/4 and P6

P1 Yellow, P2 and P3 should enter and exit school from the Infant Playground.

P5/4 and P6 should enter and exit school from Senior Playground.

Start 8.55am
Interval 10.20am- 10.35am
Lunchtime 11.50am- 12.35pm
Finish 2.55pm

Cohort 2 – P1 Blue, P3/2, P4, P5 and P7

P1 Blue and P3/2 should enter and exit school from the Infant Playrground.

P4, P5 and P7 should enter and exit school from Senior Playground.

Start 9.05am
Interval 10.45am- 11.00am
Lunchtime 12.45pm- 1.30pm

Cloakrooms will not be in use and children will move directly to and from their classrooms at each transition. Children should not bring a bag to school , unless previously agreed with management. Only water bottles, snacks and packed lunches are allowed to be brought into school. If a bag is needed to carry these things they should to placed into a carrier bag which can be disposed of once finished.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Touch points such as door handles, stair railings, sinks and toilets will be cleaned and sanitised throughout the day.

All adults will wash their hands on entering the building and at key points throughout the day. Children will be directed and supported by their teachers to wash their hands throughout the day, for example before and after break and lunch, and will be continually reminded of the correct procedures for doing so, including the use of visual instructions at all sinks.
