Our Manifesto

I hereby declare that as Party Leader of the Senior Humanitarian Party, I will campaign tirelessly to push my agenda of three forward and into effect whilst our party is elected to govern the protection and execution of your rights as a Senior.

For the past two decades, usage of our Lavatories has been a controversial debate. Should they be open during period hours? Should they be stocked with the necessary equipment? Should You be allowed to use them if and when ‘nature calls’? We as a party firmly believe that our current situation if far less than ideal and when we are elected into Parliament we pledge to launch a full, formal investigation into the vague, detail-less, ‘sketchy’ policy that is unreliably enforced. If nature calls, we must answer, not hang-up.

It has been evident now, how a silent study-space can greatly improve concentration. Our library today is swarmed by BGE pupils, and during Prelims and other unsavoury events, it is inaccessible entirely. We as a party strongly believe that there should be a space for which
Seniors are able to study in the safety and comfort of silence. Therefore we pledge to inquire and to hopefully bring about the introduction of ‘Study Rooms’ based on teachers donating their sacred free-time and classrooms for (You) Senior students to enter and study in peace and tranquillity.

Lastly, as a way to unite the various policies, understandings and exceptions (You) Seniors are entitled to, which can often be confusing and overwhelming to comprehend, in Office we will bring about the creation of a revolutionary document. We will establish ‘The Senior Constitution’, a document explaining all the rights, entitlements and policies (You) Seniors are entitled to. This will create consistency across the board on what you shall and shall not do. This should include your ‘Right to access the lavatories if and when required’.

Unlike previous years of simmering the water, we plan to boil the kettle and bring about change, change like You have never seen before. We will start with improving accessibility to the Lavatories, establishing the ‘Study Rooms’ that increase focus, and creating ‘The Senior Constitution’, and we will then branch further into the issues that You believe must change.

With us, there will be change. Without us, there will be no change. Support us, to have that change. Vote for us, the Senior Humanitarian Party, and we shall bring about that change.

Yours,

Akrit Ghimire
SHP Leader
