Our aims were identified following consultation with all stakeholders, and are:

Our school curriculum is child-centred; with a focus on planning and delivery that suits each individual child and our aims reflect this.

We aim to become a centre of excellence by

• Providing a learning environment that is professional and caring which encourages continuous improvement in relation to achieving positive outcomes for all pupils

• Providing all young people with a curriculum which allows them to achieve the 4 capacities, to flourish in their immediate, local and wider community and ensures a positive and sustained destination post school

• Providing a calm and welcoming environment for all stakeholders and our wider school community

• Promoting partnership learning

• Ensuring our ethos is built on our vision, values and aims

• Participating in experiences which enrich our pupils’ lives

• Encourages parental engagement through a wide range of opportunities to be involved in their child’s learning and development

• Promoting a strong team work ethic where everyone is included and respected
